Man, I've always heard about the awesomeness of this show but somehow I foolishly never gave it a listen. This should be officially released, not as a goofy road trips but in music stores, and promoted; I think it would turn a lot of people onto this band, people of MY GENERATION would love it. With Casey Jones cut out (I think that's the weakest cut from this date) and some of the audience trimmed out this puppy could be brought down to under 80 minutes.
Man, this is just SO the epitome of rock and roll. Every track is fucking blistering. Maybe we've talked about this one recently (I know it's been covered many times before) but forgive me; I had to say something upon hearing it for the first time.

This show, to me, represents the apex of the band. In fact - this Dancin' specifically is the apex of the band. It's simultaneously wild and totally under control, and the unique creation of the audience and the environment in a constantly moving feedback loop with the musicians.
I was actually within walking distance of this show! Too bad I was 6 and my parents weren't heads. Maybe Frank and I went to school together.

yeah i've been silent but lurking. I'm still on winter break from school, chilling at my dad's.
Doing great!!! Getting a lot of work done, paradoxically enough, and listening to a pantload of concerts.
